12 Gloucestershire Poets

Over the last two months, I have begun to photograph Gloucestershire poets, as part of project to capture the essence of some of the talented poets who live and work in the County. I intend to stage an exhibition in 2027.

So far, I have photographed JLM Morton, Adam Horovitz, Ronnie McGrath, Angela France and Alison Brackenbury.

As a photographer, I have long been interested in documenting the work of creatives. Having explored the medium of poetry myself, it felt natural to reach out to poets and see if I can represent who they are within spaces they find comfortable.

It has been fascianting to meet these people and find out a little about what drives them to write.
