About Me
I have been a Photographer since having a Kodak Instamatic when I was 12 years old. I enjoy being interested in the world around me and photography offers the chance to engage with places and people.
My Photographic education began in 1984 when I left School. I worked as an Assistant Photographer with Eric Purchase who was a well known local photographer who covered weddings, portraiture, school and local news photography. Between 1988 and 1990, I was at College in Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and studied Photography.
My photographic practice includes social portraiture, street photography, social documentary and fine art photography. I have explored the work of creatives and performers and I am interested in how industrial heritage and modern architecture affect our way of life.
